Netflix’s upcoming docu-series will examine the Sheena Bora murder case

The streaming giant unveiled the poster of ‘The Indrani Mukerjea Story’

Back in 2012, a girl called Sheena Bora went missing. In 2015, her parents’ alleged involvement in her murder shook the country, creating one of the biggest scandals India has seen in recent times. 

Netflix India is finally dropping a much-awaited documentary series on the Sheena Bora case, titled, The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth. The show is expected to document how one high profile family got embroiled in a dark and gruesome secret. The poster features Sheena’s mom, Indrani, who spent six years in prison and is currently out on bail. It also comes months after her 2023 memoir, Unbroken.

Set to stream on February 23, this promises to be an edgy and compelling look into the human psyche.
