Nawazuddin Siddiqui made headlines when he was nominated for the International Emmy Awards in 2021, for his performance in Serious Men. His Indian fans have always known the actor is destined for great things but Nawazuddin also managed to garner some global acclaim owing to his Emmy nod, eventhough he did not win.
Netflix India dropped a video to chart his creative journey where the actor himself shares his story and even talks about the Oscars. Although the actor admits he isn’t chasing awards. “I did not even dream about this (Emmys) then why would I dream about Oscars? If someone wins an Emmy, it’s such a prestigious award, that they shouldn’t get dreams about winning an Oscar. They should be happy with it,” he smiles.
