‘Minnal Murali’ trailer featuring The Great Khali

The hilarious promo hypes up the first Malayalam superhero epic

Trust Netflix to come up with the most innovative marketing techniques for their originals. The superhero film Minnal Murali is set to release on December 24, and the new trailer features Tovino Thomas's Jaison gearing up to face off against none other than The Great Khali, to prove his mettle as an international superhero. 

The short clip is full of gags, and features a nervous Jaison who’s visibly intimidated by Khali's famed WWE chokeslam. The video also cheekily references Khali's baritone, which unsettles us and the Malayalam superhero. Surprisingly Jaison manages to trump Khali in every aspect with his super strength before the former wrestler finally resorts to the chokeslam! Khali's self-parodying personality has helped the clip garner over 1 million views in a day!
