‘Midnight Mass’ is the newest spook-fest on Netflix to binge on
The miniseries follows some supernatural occurrences in a small town

Filmmaker Mike Flanagan has already established his credentials in the horror genre with films like The Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Sleep. But Midnight Mass is one of his most ambitious projects yet, having worked on the idea since 2014.
The seven-part miniseries is set in a small town, Crockett Island, where the residents start witnessing miracles after the arrival of a young priest. As the series progresses, it gets progressively spookier, characters unveil deeper layers and a dialogue around religious fanaticism is set up.
Beyond the bone-chilling drama, Midnight Mass is more than another horror series to be binged on. Flanagan makes a genuine effort to have conversations on faith and forgiveness, along with top-notch production values, creating a show that is extremely watchable.
