‘Killing Eve’ season 4 trailer

Eve and Villanelle return for one last (bloody) rendezvous

The fourth and final season of Killing Eve will see its protagonists Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer) pick up exactly where they left off – apart. Villanelle is in therapy attempting to become a better person. And Eve? Out for revenge.

“I killed two people last night after I tried really hard not to,” says Villanelle 10 seconds into the trailer, hauling us back to the world of psychosexual chemistry, contract killers, and sky-high body counts, instantly. The trailer teases several tense moments between the series’ protagonists along with well-timed glimpses of familiar faces and newly introduced characters. Culminating in a burst of fast-paced snippets, the trailer poses intriguing story arcs for Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) and Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) and a possible end game for Eve and Villanelle.

“Do you know the fable about the scorpion and the frog?” Eve asks. “They both die, because the scorpion can’t change its nature,” she explains at the end of the 1:55 second trailer. 

Killing Eve, however, is famed for a good twist. Gear up for February 27!
