‘Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy’ trailer
Step inside the mind of the hip-hop pioneer

Netflix just dropped a new trailer for Kanye West’s three-part documentary, Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy. The trailer kicks off in New York in 2002 where Kanye is seen engaging in a creative back-and-forth with longtime collaborator Rhymefest. “But who are you to call yourself a genius?” Rhymefest asks Kanye who now goes by the name ‘Ye.’ The documentary directed by Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, follows Kanye over a 20-year period and chronicles his foundation as a rapper, his aughts success, his pioneering work in fashion and will also explore some aspects of his personal journey.
“For any fan or student of music today, this documentary is a must-see event and should be experienced in a movie theatre with state-of-the-art sound systems. Through his work as a performer, producer, and entrepreneur, few artists or businessmen have had a greater impact on worldwide popular culture than Kanye West over the last twenty years,” said Steve Bunnell, the CEO of Iconic Events Releasing, the distributor for the film.
Part one of the documentary will premiere virtually at the Sundance Film Festival later this month and the three-part documentary drops on February 16 on Netflix.
