David Cronenberg’s first film in eight years stars Kristen Stewart!

Léa Seydoux, Viggo Mortensen, and Kristen Stewart have teamed up with David Cronenberg for his upcoming body horror film Crimes of the Future, which is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Crimes of the Future is Cronenberg’s first film in eight years and tells the story of Caprice (Léa Seydoux) and her partner Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), who’s an avante garde performance artist. who is famed for a piece that features metamorphosis of his organs.
Kristen Stewart plays Timlin, an investigator from the National Organ Registry, who tracks their movements. The film just dropped its first trailer and fans are obviously waiting with bated breath. The official synopsis reads, “As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner, Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.”
