The Sex Pistols biopic series, titled Pistol, is based on Sex Pistols’ guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales From a Sex Pistol. The six-part series, which drops on Hulu on May 31, charts the punk group’s rise in the mid-1970s and also documents their legacy. The show stars Toby Wallace as Jones, Anson Boon as John Lyndon, Christian Lees as Glen Matlock, Louis Partridge as Sid Vicious, and Jacob Slater as Paul Cook.
The cast rounds up some familiar faces as well. Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams plays punk icon Jordan, while Queen’s Gambit star Thomas Brodie-Sangster plays the band’s manager Malcolm McLaren. Westworld actorTalulah Riley plays McLaren’s partner and punk tastemaker, Vivienne Westwood.
