The ‘Peaky Blinders’ team offers a peak into the final season

A treat for true-blue fans!

Peaky Blinders is here with its much-awaited sixth season. While this is the final season of the blockbuster crime drama, showrunner Steven Knight has confirmed that there will be a Peaky Blinders movie, which is reportedly already in development. The first episode of season 6 dropped this week and it has the fans hooked with the drama! Meanwhile, Knight, along with some of the cast members and director Anthony Bryne, sat down for British Film Institute’s digital series, BFI At Home, where they pulled the curtain back on the final season and also shared some fond memories.

“When I first got the character breakdown, I remember it said, ‘Ada was the youngest sister and she was ‘feral’... And I remember thinking I’ve never got a character description where they describe anyone as feral. I thought that was so cool!” said Sophie Rundle who plays Ada Shelby. “I remember halfway through the shoot of the first series, they put up a huge screen in the studio and showed us what we were getting and there was this punk energy about it,” Rundle adds.
