Looking for a luxe, tranquil getaway? Consider Jodhpur’s Daspan House, the boutique property has been upcycled from a 1921 home. The resort melds old-world architecture and Rajasthani heritage with contemporary luxuries. It has 18 rooms, a groovy bar, a vibrant restaurant and an infinity plunge pool. It also offers some authentic experiences such as the Old Loco tasting menu that lets you sample some traditional delicacies in shareable portions.
The Daspan House is the family home of the designer Siddharth Daspan. It was built in 1921 and was run as a hotel by his parents in the 1990s until it was revamped into a luxe boutique hotel.
