It’s King Kohli Day and everyone is celebrating

Yuvraj Singh wished Kohli with a beautiful reel, while IPL teams and netizens also posted wishes on social media

November 5 marks a special day in the calendar for Indian cricket fans as we celebrate ace batter Virat Kohli. ‘King Kohli’, as he is fondly known, turns 35 today, and social media is buzzing with heartfelt birthday wishes from fans and the cricket community. 

Kohli’s IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, have flooded Instagram with multiple posts, and teams like Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and even Punjab Kings have chimed in with wishes. Cricketer and good friend AB de Villiers shared a beautiful message for Virat, while Mohammed Shami posted on X. “Happy Birthday to the backbone of Indian cricket… ” Among the many wishes, is a celebratory reel posted by Yuvraj Singh. On field moments, BTS clips, photos official and goofy — this reel is one we could watch on loop and witness the warmth of the friendship between Singh and Kohli, a bond that has grown stronger with time.

This day is special for all Kolkata fans as well as the memory of Kohli’s 49th ODI century on this very day against South Africa at the Eden Gardens is still fresh in memory. My Kolkata also wishes Virat a very happy 35th birthday, and a memorable comeback in Australia later this month.
