Actor Tota Roy Choudhury has always been a gem of Bengal. However, Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani catapulted him to national fame, with people lauding his performance as Chandon Chatterjee, the adoring father to Alia’s Rani, who held on to his love for dance despite societal judgments about his masculinity. As the film celebrated a year on July 28, Tota shared an Instagram post featuring the senior members of the Randhawa and Chatterjee families from the last day of shoot. In the caption, Tota shared how the crew had braved lockdowns, social distancing and regular COVID-19 tests in order to complete the shoot, and it was Shabana Azmi who suggested capturing a memory of all the seniors and breaking KJo’s no-picture rule.
