Celebrations galore as India snatches victory from Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller

Bumrah leads stunning bowling performance to secure a six-run win at Nassau County Cricket Stadium in NYC

When India put just 119 runs on the board, it seemed like Pakistan would hand India a crushing defeat but Jasprit Bumrah and the rest of India’s bowlers had other plans. Being put into bat with rain causing interruptions, India did not make the most of their batting innings but the bowlers cleaned up well to hand India a thrilling six-run victory at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York. ICC shared the reactions after India pulled out the clutch to put in one of the best bowling performances, with Bumrah picking up the Man of the Match award for taking three crucial wickets. While the celebrations on the field were brilliant, Ravi Shastri walked into the Indian dressing room to present the fielding award that has become a much-loved ritual of Team India’s dressing-room culture.
