‘Sharmajee Ki Beti’ cast shares behind-the-scenes stories in a new video

The filmmaker and her cast discuss their three-year journey and the making of this heartwarming film on women empowerment

Tahira Kashyap Khurrana’s directorial debut Sharmajee Ki Beti  premiered globally on Prime Video last month. Since then, this movie about women empowerment has touched hearts with its emotional and powerful screenplay and story. After receiving much love and applause, IMDb has released a behind-the-scenes video, where Tahira talks about the three-year-long journey of making the film. The video also features the film’s cast, including Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, Sharib Hashmi, Vanshika Taparia, and Divya Dutta, who share their experiences of working with Tahira on her first film. There’s also a fun clip from Tahira’s husband actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is seen pulling her leg. The movie explores the lives of modern, middle-class women as they deal with urban loneliness. It is currently streaming online on Prime Video.
