‘Manike Mage Hithe’ gets a Bhojpuri twist

The popular Sinhala number transcends language barriers again!

Yes, we can’t recommend it enough! The viral internet sensation Manike Mage Hithe is back on our tunes-to-groove-to list again, this time with its Bhojpuri makeover. Composed by Ranjan and written by the trio Rishi, Abhishek, and Gypsy Soul the recreated track has the groovy voice of Sri Lankan singer-rapper Yohani Diloka de Silva and a Bhojpuri rap version by Bihari Gypsy Soul, and the combination has made it magical!
Since the date of its YouTube release on September 19, the Bhojpuri remake video has received over 45 thousand views, and the comment section of the channel has been flooded with appreciation from fans. The Sinhala number was originally released in 2020 by Sri Lankan rapper Satheeshan Rathnayaka and was later revived in 2021 with Yohani (the wonder!) lending her voice to it, and has been on the we-abso-love-it list of netizens for months now.
