Aahana Kumra shares some glimpses from her Kolkata trip

The actress rode in a yellow cab, visited Kalighat Temple and paid tribute to Satyajit Ray!

Actress Aahana Kumra packed in a lot of quintessential Kolkata experiences on her recent trip to the city. The actor’s new Instagram post comprised postcards from the visit, where she had a chance to travel in the classic yellow cab, offer prayers at the newly renovated Kalighat Temple and paid a tribute to our very own Manik Da aka Satyajit Ray! 

Aahana credited none other than Bengal’s favourite ‘jamai babu’ Amitabh Bachchan for pushing her to take the trip, adding that the Bollywood legend had told her to visit Kolkata whenever she wanted to feel inspired. She also thanked Chandan Roy Sanyal and Pink-director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury for showing her around the city and treating her to the most scrumptious Bengali meal. 

Judging by the pictures, we think Aahana might have dropped by the sets of Chowdhury’s upcoming film, Dear Maa, which is the director’s first Bengali film in a decade. Could there be a chance of a cameo? We have our fingers crossed!
