The bride picked oversized polkis

Alia Bhatt may have been a Sabyasachi bride on her wedding day, where she chose some eclectic heritage jewellery. But for her pre-bridal festivities, she picked some dramatic pieces that took our breath away. For her Mehendi, Alia wore a maximalist necklace and maangtika by Dedhia Jewellers, featuring glamorous English rose-cut, basra pearls and emeralds woven into a fine signature design. The clean-cut polkis added a magnificent finish to the pieces.

Alia's sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor also picked the label for dressing up for the big day. She wore a resplendent and colourful polki necklace by the label which she paired with a sequin ensemble from Manish Malhotra’s Taban line. Despite being modern and versatile, the choker still retailed some classic elements.
