Abhishek Sharma gets a special shoutout from mentor Yuvraj Singh

The southpaw from Punjab shines in India blue with a century on his second outing

When we see an athlete do well, we often overlook the hard work. After a successful season in the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Abhishek Sharma was called up to represent India for the first time at the ongoing 5 match T20I series in Zimbabwe. While he was dismissed for a duck on his debut, in a matter of 24 hours Abhishek turned it all around scoring a 46 ball 100 in a splendid inning that saw him hit sixes all around the Harare Sports Club. While India won by the same number of runs that came off the bat of the southpaw from Punjab, his mentor saves the highest praises for him

Having been mentored by Yuvraj Singh for several years now, the 24-year-old left hander had to be a six hitter just like Yuvi in his prime.
