‘Smokin' Out the Window’ by Silk Sonic

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak announced their R&B project in February

Silk Sonic’s latest tune Smokin' Out the Window is the third single on the R&B duo’s highly anticipated album An Evening With Silk Sonic which debuts on November 12. Silk Sonic features American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars and rapper Anderson .Paak who put together this stellar old-school album during the lockdown of 2020.

Smokin' Out the Window follows Mars’ iconic smooth frills (think: Talking to the Moon and That’s What I Like) and some feisty verses by .Paak that hit every note. The number is the perfect mood-lifter and sets a jazzy vibe, much like the risqué songs from the artists' independent repertoires. Silk Sonic released two singles earlier this year, titled Leave the Door Open and Skate and joined forces for a Soul Train-style performance at this year’s Grammys.
