Raveena Aurora’s latest single Secret, featuring Vince Staples, is a sneak peek into her sophomore ensemble Asha’s Awakening – a concept album. Throughout the album, Aurora plays the role of a space princess from ancient Punjab who goes through life learning about love, loss and healing. This album comes after the crooner’s first EP Shanti in 2017 and her debut album Lucid in 2019.

“To me, Secret is about love that transgresses through different dimensions. It imagines a circumstance where: What if your lover was enticing you from space and you couldn’t reach them in this realm? What if a spirit from an outer dimension ignited your sacral chakra?” shared the singer-songwriter. The song explores uncharterd territory whose queen bee is pop-culture’s favourite alien-enthusiast Lily Iglehart from Sex Education. Will Aurora supersede her?
