‘Heartbreak is a Social Construct’ by Tathagata Bhowmick

Featuring 3 am swan songs and drunken astronauts…

Kolkata singer Tathagata Bhowmick just dropped a new EP titled Heartbreak is a Social Construct. The project has been in the works for around three years and features three tracks, titled Song for Dot, Monday Morning 3 AM and Two Drunken Astronauts. The numbers are largely based around a rock and roll arrangement and balance elements of electronica, pop, orchestra, and ambient lo-fi. 

“I believe the lyrics, even though written from personal experiences, have a sense of universality that binds all of us together, in ways that hope, love, and friendship affect us and make us understand the vagaries of our world better. And yes, there are drunken sad astronauts in one song,” the artiste shares.
