Published 07.01.22, 10:30 AM

Australian DJ and producer Flume just dropped a new ambient track made in collaboration with Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn, along with a teaser video, just labelled Flume 2022. Fans first got wind of the artistic collaboration when Albarn revealed he'd spent time in the studio with Flume way back in January 2019. The video features Flume’s warm, reverberant beats and some minimal crooning by Albarn.

The three-minute video has been helmed by Australian visual artist Jonathan Zawada who has also worked with Flume on the visuals of her earlier albums, Skin, Quits and Hi This Is Flume and also for a recent string of NFTs. The wild and colourful video takes viewers through a digitally augmented jungle with vivid, psychedelic elements. A fresh line-up of music by Flume has been promised for 2022 in the form of a full-length album, although the artiste has not released any dates yet.
