Will Billie Eilish take home an Oscar?
At 20, the singer is the youngest non-acting nominee

Billie Eilish along with her brother and collaborator, Finneas, will perform their Oscar-nominated number No Time to Die at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, scheduled to be held on March 28. The moody ballad from the James Bond outing, No Time To Die, is nominated for Best Original Song, while the film has also earned nods for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound.
Billie is also set to make history as the youngest artiste to headline both Glastonbury and Coachella music festivals. Billie recently opened up about the creative journey behind the song to late-night talk show host Seth Meyers. “We made the song in October 2019 so it was a long time ago. I was 17 when I made it and now I’m 20. It was a long strategic process. It wasn’t like, ‘you go the job.’ We were auditioning pretty much. So it wasn’t an ego thing…. They weren’t like, ‘we want Billie Eilish.’ We were like, ‘we want you,’” Billie shared.
