The Obhabe Keno and Bandhu Chol singer is set to rule charts and hearts again with his festive release, Mrigonabhi. Starring popular youth icons Aishwarya Sen and Pushan Dasgupta, with Surangama Bandyopadhyay in a special appearance, the college romance number tells the tale of a young man riding on love’s tide — with its ebbs and flows.

Anupam is known for his simple and relatable lyrics, and the latest release by the singer-composer is another feather on the musician’s hat. Also commendable is the realistic portrayal of the characters, especially the protagonist who battles with stammering and braves humiliations for his speech problem.

The melodious number has been sung, written and composed by Anupam Roy and has more than 60,000 views since its release on September 30.
