Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran’s ‘2002’
The crooners performed the tune at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball

Pop star BFFs Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran brought the house down at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball with a duet of their hit acoustic single 2002. The song has an unmatched sing-along quality and got the fans singing out loud, word for word.
2002 speaks of wistful childhood memories — from sitting on the hood of a car listening to your favourite tunes with your best pals to first kisses and teenage romances. It was first released as a single on Marie’s debut studio album Speak Your Mind and then later as an acoustic track featuring the British singer-songwriter, Sheeran. In fact, Sheeran helped write the song and loved it so much that he pestered Marie into releasing it early.
Sheeran and Marie have the cutest chemistry and their performance at Capital FM left us beaming from ear to ear — in between our ‘I will always remember’ and ‘Oops...I got 99 problems singing' bye, bye, bye’ chants, of course!
