Aditi Paul sings Rabindrasangeet in Sandipta Sen-starrer ‘Noshtoneer 2’

The music video takes one back to the grim realities in the lives of Aparna and Rishabh in the first season of the Hoichoi web series

Aditi Paul mesmerises with her emotive voice and expression of pathos in the rendition of the Rabindransangeet Je Raatey Mor in the second season of the Hoichoi web series Noshtoneer. Aditi’s vocal prowess adds melancholia to the music video starring Sandipta, reminiscing her bygone days with her husband. 

Dealing with the complexities of relationships led by Sandipta Sen (Aparna) and Shoumo Banerjee (Rishabh) playing a married couple, Noshtoneer touches on the topic of infidelity and polygamy. Shoumo, who plays an academic is a doting father and husband in the web series, but his relationships with his wife and with society takes a turn when an unknown facet of him surfaces and goes viral. While the first season ended on a cliffhanger, the second season of the Aditi Roy directorial is expected to unravel what’s in store for the couple. 

The web series, which also features Angana Roy, Anindya Chatterjee and RooqmaRay, is all set to stream this month.
