Aaj Baaja Tui Dhaak by Bickram Ghosh

The song, which released on Mahalaya is part of a special Durga Puja album

Bickram Ghosh’s Durga Puja release brings together music stalwarts likes Hariharan, Amit Kumar, Shaan, Mahalakhsmi Iyer, Zubeen Garg, Kaushiki Chakraborty and Sona Mohapatra in a song that celebrates the festive season.   

The catchy tune, paired with Sugata Guha’s simple and eloquent lyrics, sounds like an invitation to drop whatever it is you’re doing, and indulge in the festive spirit. The song puts the dhaak front and centre, the beats elevating the excitement and exhilaration. The official music video, which was also released on Wednesday, is bound to bring a smile to your face, with some of the biggest and most well-known faces in the music industry, matching their step to the beats of the dhaak. 

My Kolkata was present when the song premiered at the Manicktalla Chaltabagan Lohapatty Durga Puja Dhakutsav, held on October 6, 2021 at ITC Sonar Bangla.
