The nude lip is back on the red carpet

The ‘90s trend was a big hit at the Oscars

Kristen Stewart, Penelope Cruz, Zoë Kravitz and Tati Gabrielle all went for classic nude lips for this year’s Oscars. Minimal make-up was a big hit at this year’s Academy Awards and most A-listers steered away from high-impact products or super pigmented picks. This would explain why beige, pale blush and nude-toned lip colours are coming back into the mainstream circuit.

While Zendaya went for some serious gloss over her neutral pink lip colour, Kristen Stewart went for some light lip contouring as she used the Chanel Le Crayon Lèvres Longwear Lip Pencil in a nude brown and then layered Chanel's Rouge Allure L’Extrait Lipstick in 812, over the top. The Batman star Zoe Kravitz, however, stole the show with her superbly elegant, flesh-toned lipstick that perfectly complemented her understated make-up.
