Hollywood is obsessed with the barely-there blush

Call it the Bridgerton effect

Minimal make-up is back in the mainstream circuit and Hollywood is getting creative with it. After nude lips ruled the red carpet at the Oscars, A-listers are steering towards nuanced subtle accents for their make-up instead of deep tones. Heavily-pigmented products are out and versatile, blendable ones are in. Elle Fanning’s beauty stylist Erin Ayanian Monroe recently shared some snaps from Elle’s lookbook and also revealed the products she used to achieve Elle’s subtle, flushed make-up.

Erin opted for a creamy, oil-formulated blush to attain a barely-there flush of colour for Elle’s daytime look. L'oreal's Radiant Satin Blush with Camellia Oil in Amber is a luminous cheek tint that’s creamy and prevents caking. But any cream-based blush should do the trick if you want to go for a pale or lightly flushed blush for summer.
