Drape artist Dolly Jain has returned with another stunning Kasavu sari — a favourite of the celebrity draper — and added a contemporary style twist to the traditional drape. A stylist for the stars, and holding a record for knowing how to drape a sari in 357 different styles, Jain is known for not only her sari draping expertise but also for experimenting with different ways to style the six yards.

While sticking to the basics of tucking, pleating and gracefully draping the sari over the shoulder, she has introduced a unique element — a gold belt. This small addition creates a chic sleeve effect on the left side, perfect for those wearing sleeveless blouses and seeking extra coverage. The belt not only keeps the drape neat but also allows for full arm movement, ensuring both comfort and elegance.

Known for her expertise in sari draping, she emphasises that she’s not just a stylist but an artist, encouraging her followers to share their own styling tips. Always on the lookout for inspiration, she plans to incorporate these ideas into her future videos, making her tutorials more collaborative and engaging.
