A Halloween make-up guide for your night out on the prowl
A spider, a cobweb and a bloody lip!

Halloween begs for some daring make-up. Here’s an attainable look, achieved in 5 neat steps:
Step 1: Start with your usual base make-up, with the eye make-up leaning towards the darker side. You could even throw in a smokey eye, if you’re up for the challenge.
Step 2: Draw a long wing using your favourite eyeliner. Take it up to your brow bone but make sure not to touch the eyebrow. The key to this is to have a generous amount of product on the wand at all times.
Step 3: For the cobweb:
Draw a diagonal line from the centre of the eye to an inch above the nose (this will act as the first extension of the web). Follow suit, adjusting the angle of each extension, till you reach the wing. Then, join the lines to each other with concave arcs, leaving equal distances between each arc. Keep a cotton swab handy, and clean up any imperfections as you progress.
Step 4: For the spider:
Draw the spider legs by keeping the eye as the fulcrum. Add a few highlights; lighter ones at the joints of the spider legs using a highlighter and darker shades below each leg using a brown kohl pencil.
(Remember that the beauty of this spider lies in its imperfections)
Step 5: Add a red lip with a few blood drops dripping down one side, and you’ve nailed this Halloween make-up look.
