The beloved dim sum teahouse Yauatcha has a new plant-based menu featuring some reinvented classics such as their signature hakka noodle, a number of steamed, fried and baked dim sums, along with other standout vegan picks. Yauatcha’s iconic three style mushroom cheung fun and the fried turnip cakes should be your go-to options, if you’re looking for complex flavours. 

However, if you want to experience something hearty and comforting, go for the delicious poached Peking dim sum, which is made with mock meat. The poached Peking dumpling is filled with minced vegetarian chicken and served with a spicy Peking sauce and topped with chillies, coriander and garlic. If you’re wary of plain, steamed dumplings, poached dim sums can be a refreshing choice.
