Karthikeyan Palaniswamy and Harish Manoj Kumar’s tree-to-bar label Soklet offers a line of caramelised cacao nibs made with their award-winning organic cacao beans. Cacao nibs are essentially small chunks of dried, crushed cacao beans; they feature the same components as a dark chocolate bar. Soklet’s organic cacao beans are lightly roasted, winnowed and combined with caramelised organic sugar to attain the perfect flavour profile. These nibs also undergo less processing, and hence retain more nutrition.

Cacao nibs are good stress-busters, they are full of antioxidants and also have anti-inflammatory properties. They are the perfect snack, and can also be used in desserts or ice-creams. Soklet’s caramelised nibs are made in small batches and come in three different flavours, salted, Zaatar spiced and chilli.
