Prawn Hazari Tandoori from Kareem’s

This festive season, dig into some cheesy spicy grilled prawn kebabs

Kebabs are great finger food to start off a Mughlai meal and Kareem’s has now created a simple yet delectable dish that spotlights juicy prawns coated in familiar flavours. 

The prawns are marinated in curd, cheese and green chillies along with aromatics like garlic and ginger. The dish gets its unique flavour profile from the spinach paste, while the kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) and saunf (fennel) add a hint of bitterness which balances out the sharp, heady taste of mustard oil and cumin seeds. These prawns are then grilled to perfection, before being brushed with butter and served with a sprinkling of chaat masala. The kebabs come with some mint chutney and a masala onion salad on the side.
