Kaaram - The Andhra Kitchen has a new winter special menu that is the amalgamation of the flavours from two states—Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. While the flavours are bold and pungent, they complement each other well. Some of the popular items on their menu include Nolen Gur Payasam and biryanis that are served with papad and homemade pickles and chutney.

However the highlight of their menu is the Malabar Parotta and spicy mutton curry that combines flavours like guntur chillies and pepper along with dried coconut fennel seeds. The soft mutton melts in your mouth and is the ideal companion for the flaky, crunchy parotta.

"Andhra is all about rice. So this Christmas I thought I should do a fusion of Andhra and Kerala blending the two states and their cuisines,” said Latika Dhawan, owner.
