Jhuri Doi and Shor Doi

Pulao, kosha mangsho and...? What else but some great mishti doi! And yes, there’s more than one kind to choose from.Doiwala has been trying to bring back some of the forgotten recipes for mishti doi from the various districts of Bengal. Now you don’t have to travel very far for Murshidabad’s Jhuri Doi (hung curd in a bamboo basket) or Nabadwip’s Shor Doi (hung curd with thick cream on the top). 

To ensure authenticity, Doiwala has brought in craftsmen from the districts to get the unique flavours just right. There are in fact karigars from Murshidabad making the famous Jhuri Doi. We can’t wait for them to launch their Benaras rabri. 

The menu also includes Kheer Doi, Lal Doi, Tok-Mishti and Strawberry Doi. Have it between the singara course and the Kheer Kadam!
