Effingut’s take on a classic Maharashtrian snack

Published 18.03.22, 06:04 AM

Crispy and crunchy, Effingut’s coriander and sesame fritters are the restaurant’s take on the popular Maharashtrian snack, Kothimbir Vadi.

Made with roasted gram flour, these fritters have the punch of asafoetida and curry leaves, alongside the freshness of coriander leaves. The white sesame seeds add a dash of nuttiness to the dish. The heat from the green chillies is balanced out by the flavours of the mint chutney
This earthy dish is a great snack to pair with cocktails and share with your friends.

Enjoy this dish on March 18 to celebrate Holi.
