A tortellini to die for

Have you been to Sorano yet?

Everyone wants to be at Sorano and we get the hype. The new Italian fine diner in Park Street has the most eclectic menu and a superb interior. And don’t even get us started on their immaculate wood fire oven. The diner offers a selection of gorgeous hand-rolled pasta. Their Tortellini Pollo is the one that we’ve got our eye on. Legend has it that these small, pillowy dumplings which are traditionally served with a light, aromatic broth, are named after Venus’ navel.

“The tortellini has an origin story like no other pasta. If legends are to be believed, the shape of the tortellini was inspired from the navel of Venus. Legends or not, the pasta is a favourite! Buon Appetito !” Sorano writes on its Instagram page. Their Tortellini Pollo is made with confit chicken, cream cheese, pan jus and parmesan.
