This gin cocktail is perfect for celebrating Prince’s b’day week!

World Gin Day is on its way but there are plenty of other reasons why you should head out for a gin binge with your besties. Lord of the Drinks offers a signature cocktail called Purple Rain, which is a great way to mark the anniversary week of the late R&B icon Prince, whose hit album Purple Rain is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time. 

The gin-based cocktail at LOTD is delicious and repeatable. The concoction is prepared with blue pea-infused gin, elderflower syrup, lime juice and tonic water, and it’s garnished with malta orange and orchid flower.

“Gin, I believe, is a millennial favourite due to the ease with which it can be mixed and the creativity that modern manufacturers are displaying. Because of the right fizziness and strong juniper influence with low alcoholic strength, gin can be enjoyed as an afternoon drink,” shared Sujan Saha, the mixologist of Lord of the Drinks Kolkata.
