Treat your furry friends to this yummy meat cake

You can even celebrate your doggo’s birthday with this homemade dish

Looking for a birthday cake for dogs? Why not make something safe, non-toxic and yummy at home with real meat? 

Ingredients

• Minced chicken: 250g
• Boiled chicken liver: 3-4 pieces
• Rice flour: 3 tbsp
• Raw egg: 1 piece
• Boiled eggs: 2 pieces

Method

• In a bowl, take the minced chicken, raw egg, rice flour and mix well
• Sprinkle some rice flour in a baking pan and pour the mix spreading it evenly 
• Bake or steam for 10 minutes
• Let it cool before transferring it to a cake base or plate
• Make a paste of the boiled liver with some water and spread it on the meat cake like cream
• Crush egg whites to use it for decorating the cake. You can also cut them into strips to write your dog’s name. And your meat cake is ready! 

Tips

• You can use your dog’s favourite treats and veggies as cake toppers
• Minced chicken can be replaced with minced mutton or beef
• To keep the cake soft, do not over bake or over steam the mix
