Crunchy Pumpkin Seed Fritters, anybody?

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin seeds: 15-20
  • Finely chopped onion: 1 large
  • Finely chopped green chillies: 3-4
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves: 2 tablespoons
  • Chilli flakes: 1 teaspoon
  • Amchur powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Black pepper powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoons
  • Salt
  • Besan/Maida
  • Vegetable oil

Process:

  • Keep a little pumpkin with the seeds. Wash well and drain excess water
  • Mix the pumpkin seeds with chopped vegetables and spices
  • Add dry maida and mash well, sprinkling little water to make a fritter-like consistency
  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan to and deep fry on low to medium heat until the fritters are golden brown on both sides
  • Sprinkle some amchur powder, add some ketchup on the side. Enjoy with tea
