SawDesi to host Diwali showcase and purchase event at Gallery Gold

A three-day celebration of creativity and artistry between November 3 and 5

SawDesi, from the house of Art Melange, is all set to host a three-day showcase and purchase event at Gallery Gold (near Menoka Cinema in Lake Range) between November 3 and 5, with My Kolkata as digital partner. With the imminent celebration of Diwali in mind, SawDesi will bring together artists and creators from across the city to present their products and find their appropriate clientele. A special corner will also be dedicated for visitors to discover the work of first-time exhibitors. The event will last from 12pm to 8pm on all three days.

Senior artist and sculptor Tarak Garai will be the chief guest for the event’s inauguration on November 3. Alongside the exhibition, multiple artistic competitions as well as performances are also lined up. The evening of November 4 will witness a combination of performance poetry and music, with Barjyokobi with Rhododendron Solo feat. Abhik being the headline act. There is no entry fee for the event, which is also expected to welcome several city-based actors.
