The Backyard and Artroom are coming together for a series of workshops for printmaking, painting, sculpting and more

If your idea of an ideal weekend is to create some art, The Backyard and Artroom have an incredible treat in store for you. The Topsia eatery is collaborating with the art collective to launch ‘Australia Unwritten: Tales from Down Under’, which will comprise a series of workshops on various mediums of art centred around indigenous art from Australia. Sprinkled throughout November, these will include contemporary printmaking, painting, sculpting and upcycling — all taught with the inspirational work of artists like Brian Robinson, Nongirrna Marawili and Marlene Rubuntija in mind. The Backyard will also be serving scrumptious gourmet dishes from their Australian Special Menu to provide participants a taste of the beautiful country.
