Barry O’Brien returns to the stage as Scrooge

The All-India Anglo-Indian Association begins its online Christmas extravaganza today with an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, conceived and directed by Maya Gomez and featuring celebrated quizmaster Barry O’Brien as Ebenezer Scrooge. The production by Team Expressions and friends of the All-India Anglo-Indian Association sets the ball rolling for a host of virtual, festive events over the next few weeks. 

A Christmas Carol is perhaps the most enduring Christmas story of all time and the most famous literary work associated with the festival. The play upholds the virtues of kindness and forgiveness through the tale of the miser Ebenezer Scrooge and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. So, if you’re looking for a nostalgia-ridden celebration of the Christmas spirit, don’t miss out on this one.
