One of the most popular malls in Kolkata, Quest Mall has taken an artistic route to celebrating Christmas this year. The mall is showcasing the architectural heritage of Kolkata through art to usher in the festive season. Paying an ode to the bygone days of the City of Joy, Quest Mall, in collaboration with multidisciplinary artist Swarup Dutta and Awestruck, has themed the decorations around Kolkata in the pre-Independence era, and a few iconic landmarks in the city

This installation is a coming-together of historic landmarks of Kolkata like Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Prinsep Ghat. The collages of the landmarks are decorated with golden bells and glitter balls, adding more festive vibes
Two more installations that catch the attention are the red balloons hanging from the ceilings of the mall, and a big, red bow that is associated with Santa Claus above the portico at the main entrance. Quest Mall intends to celebrate the artistic heritage of Bengal, and has several other artistic projects planned for 2025
