ED quizzes Partha kin

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday questioned Kalyanmoy Bhattacharya, son-in-law of arrested former minister Partha Chatterjee, in connection with its probe into alleged irregularities in recruitments for government-aided schools. Officers said they questioned Bhattacharya about a school in West Midnapore's Pingla, which was built in the memory of his mother in-law. Bhattacharya was the director of the school where, an officer said, Chatterjee had allegedly parked several crores of rupees. Bhattacharya had been summoned earlier, too, but he did not turn up. He was in the US, officers said.
