Railway projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation around 2,000 railway infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 41,000 crore via video conferencing on Monday. The revamp of multiple stations in Bengal is part of the drive.
Monk dies
Swami Shivadevananda, a senior monk of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, passed away at Ramakrishna Seva Pratisthan at 10.50am on Sunday. He was 75 and was cremated at Belur Math later at night.
