On the occasion of National Unity Day, the employees of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata, joined hands to form the Ekta Shrinkala, a human chain, to celebrate the Festival of Unity on October 31.
As part of National Unity Day, a motorcycle rally was also organised which was flagged off by airport director, C. Pattabhi.
Prior to this, to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Kolkata airport displayed a special exhibition on his life on digital screens along with banners across the terminal building.
