Chief minister Mamata Banerjee launched an anti-ragging helpline number at a meeting at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Tuesday. Students in distress from any schools, colleges and universities in West Bengal can dial 18003455678. Additionally, the CM also announced a booty of Rs 70,000 to every Durga Puja committee in 2023

About 20 students of middle and higher classes from Japanese schools visited Kolkata on Tuesday as a part of the SDGs Leadership Development Programme among the youth. Students of about 40 high schools from Kolkata and different districts of West Bengal participated in the programme held at a waste management plant in Howrah.
