26-year-old missing Behala youth found dead in Howrah

According to a preliminary post-mortem opinion, there was no injury mark on him

A 26-year-old man who went missing after leaving his Behala home in southwest Kolkata for office on Friday morning was found dead at Bagnan in Howrah district on Sunday morning.

Police said Subhadeep Roy, the victim, worked for a company that refills ATMs and lived with his mother.

“The resident of Behala’s Satyen Roy Branch Road left home around 6.30am on Friday saying he was going to the office. He apparently informed his office that he was at home and would not work that day. It is not clear why he went to Bagnan,” said an officer.

“According to a preliminary post-mortem opinion, there was no injury mark on him. We have not received any complaint,” said an officer
